Feedback from many of our extremely satisfied customers makes running these trips really worthwhile! Here are some recent ones:

In April/May 2015, I had the extreme pleasure of participating in two birding adventures with Florida Nature Tours. The first was to the Dry Tortugas and the Lower Florida Keys followed by a second tour which took us throughout Southern Florida. These trips were a historical delight and the life birds were many! But, the best part was sharing this adventure with like-minded people who love birds, the environment and history; all of this with great humor, camaraderie and respect. This trip was a highlight of the many I have enjoyed and I would highly recommend it to those who have a passion for seeing birds, enjoying the environment, and last but not least, learning and sharing with others who feel the same. Adding three more beautiful National Parks to my life list was also outstanding!

Our spring 4 day adventure to the Dry Tortugas in 2015 was amazing with a group of excellent birders and great weather. Highlights included Bahama Mockingbird, which we saw before we even left the dock in the Keys, Masked Booby, Black Noddy, Bridled Tern, Audubon’s Shearwater, Shiny Cowbird, and of course, many Brown Noddies and Sooty Terns. It is also a photographer’s delight to see so many warblers and other passerines up close and personal.

I highly recommend Florida Nature Tours, Wes Biggs and his other guides are running a top-notch tour to the Tortugas. Though Wes wasn't personally on the Dry Tortugas tour I did, he had everything set up perfectly, and his guides Dave Goodwin and Dave Hartgrove handled everything that came up very smoothly. This included a medical event that happened right on the start of our trip out to the Tortugas that was expertly handled so that the person involved got the care they needed, and the rest of the group didn't lose time.  Plus, of course they knew the area and birds very well! The Spree is a wonderful boat, with very friendly/competent crew and outstanding food, and I slept like a baby every night on board. Birding the Tortugas with FNT was a blast, and I certainly hope to get back at some point in time. I'm not a professional photographer, but a collection of images from my Dry Tortugas tour with Florida Nature Tours can be seen here:
